Likes are temporarily the best way to earn, but they also inhibit momentum of information and contribution. Take a $1 and spend it 80% on likes, then take a $1 and spend 80% on commentary/sharing. Which earns? To optimally earn, like less.

I do all these things. Liking something isnt preventing you from commenting and sharing? I actually wouldnt mind $.10 likes again. I was earning twice as fast then! Theres really no need to see the same post 10x in your news feed. ❤'s 4 life!!

Sure, there’s no need for it to show up 10x in your feed, that should be fixed somehow, but you could decide to rank what you see 1st based on the attention it garners online. Also making likes more valuable won’t scale or last. Hence why it’s cheaper now.

And I’ll bet likes being cheaper from 10 to 5¢ actually created more activity and generated more profit for them. But which interaction on Twetch creates the most value overall?

For sure, that is EXACTLY what it does. But it doesn’t build momentum for sharing. Should people feel a little concerned that their content was only good enough for an “I hear ya” but not a “you all hear this”?

I....think so. I didn’t get the Twetch user manual. I’m still trying to figure out the difference between retwetching and branching. And then there’s tagging, so lots of ways to spread the word.

Your able to copy twetch to post on other things besides twetch. Also you can copy the post and share it in a comment...branching wont do this
