What's on your reading list right now, Ryan?
Just wrapping up The Sovereign Individual on the nonfiction side, want to revisit Snow Crash before the month is out. A smattering of technical reference books always in queue.
Physical copies, no e-books.
It’s a good read
Gonna read Jordan Peterson's book on 12 rules for life next.
12 rules for life is fantastic. Can also recommend Maps of Meaning. Exploration of the pre-scientific-method understanding of life and the world around us. I’m off Twitter and Facebook now. Listen to Ryan folks, it makes life better.
"Maps of Meaning" is the one I plan to read after 12 rules!
Nice one :) That’s the order I read them in too. I am not a religious practitioner but that book helped me understand the concept of God - I found it very moving.
Been reading the rational male, preventive medicine. An absolute eye opener that I can recommend to any man who wants to understand women better. If not for yourself, then for the sake of your sons.
Can you publish a recommended list of books you have read already? I prefer referencing those list instead of marketed books.
I am just commenting here, in order to get all the notifications. Don't mind me. Adding to the reading list.
The Way of Mastery - Part One: The Way of the Heart
is a personal favorite of mine

Is anyone building a better goodreads already?
Finished listening to "12 rules" twice. Great book. I plan to apply these rules in my life.
I'm going to listen to "Crime and Punishment" next. I'm starting to understand the role of Christianity in the history of western civilization.
If that is your aim, Ryan, "The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism" by Max Weber is highly recommended reading :)
Thanks gato I'm adding that to my list. I'm very interested to learn more about protestantism.
Thanks gato. Bought it. Current books are:
1. Maps of Meaning
2. Crime and Punishment
3. Protestant Ethic
Best opportunity is reading :)
