The gay pride thing, unsurprisingly, got the right straight into pride as well. "I'm proud to be white" etc. It is everywhere now. Being proud of innate attributes, of course, is a bit silly and it also smells like a trap both political and spiritual. But what is the solution when people are being shamed for being white and reflexively turn to the terminology of the left, which just makes them sound like raging racists? Well, there's always gratefulness: I'm grateful to be white. It doesn't carry the "white pride" connotation and neither the spiritual problem that pride represents.
