If I gain 50000 followers and you have 0, should my twetch cost more than yours since the value in visibility and potential reward in likes and replies is that much greater?

My comment was in response to the OP, and by "tax" I was pointing out that it smells like a tax/fee against future earnings where the amount is based on past success.
