Funny, years ago (not so many years) I left my comfort zone and travellled the world in the pursuit of happiness. This is how I ended up in Brazil.

The world today is isolating, demands are higher, and we are constantly feeling overwhelmed. As a working mother, I feel this deeply.
And yet, I am able to live this life, happily, in my own way, with my own issues, and with the never ending belief that as we learn we grow together.
So many criticised me on this move. But I felt free to make my own choices. I made a beautiful family here.
A family is not the same for everyone, and while I believe I have a pretty traditional family, I dont have the resources of friends and family closeby
I miss my kids, every second I am away from them, but never lose focus on what needs to be done. My kids are my everything, My family is all of me. My work, is, my passion, and the reason to get out of bed in the morning.
And my work, is how, I be me. Following my own passions. My own goals. Sure, my house is not always clean (or never) but my life, is BETTER used on what inspires me. And I hope that my children see a mother that does what she needs to fulfil her life.
Thinking back from when I was 20 and left Australia, in my mind seems immature. But I ended up finding what I was looking for at the time. My goals now have grown, of course, but 20 year old me needed more. And I am grateful for my own courage.
My journey does not have kids, but soon the first one. Me & my wife have been on "a different" journey that most would not take, most have chosen the "standard" in Norway (as we escaped voluntarily from five years ago). Nothing bad about it, just not us.
Sounds great River! I was talking to my guest today about how we never know what's in store for us, and that we may find something better than what we could've planned or hoped for. Wish you all the best!
@910. . . great story, but how about your partner, father of the kids?
I ended up in Japan. I could not talk about my family with 3 beautiful kids without mentioning my wonderful wife.
And this is how I ended up in South Korea. But then any place can become a comfort zone too...
Have you done any Psytrance festivals there? I hear they are a riot! :))
I think its so important for us to at least once in our lives really step outside of your comfort zone, and try to find that missing piece of the puzzle. So humbled to hear so many of your stories!
Hubby is certainly a huge part of the picture, but hes a private guy so I don't talk about him on social media much ;)
You are a lucky woman, and I bet that every member of your family feels very happy because of the good vibes and love you convey.
Thanks for sharing your inspirational experience
You didn’t leave your comfort zone, you entered it by ending up in Brazil ) you have high risk tolerance, common for entrepreneurial mindset
I am always in my comfort zone :D
