We are living a very sad period in which small harmless decisions can raise contempt, hate, judgement.
People are still people and most of them have great qualities that don't go away the moment they put a mask on their faces.
If you want to analyze a given situation in regards to ethics, start by finding out if coercion is involved and where it is coming from.
