!flux Bitcoin Gold (BTG) is actually better than BTC. It uses equihash so it's asic resistant.(Can still be mined in home PCs) I played around with it the other day. Only pocket change. It's $0.75 per coin.
It's less than a dollar and it's more "decentralised" than BTC even though I don't like using that word.
I did a transaction and it was super cheap ( probably because it was the only transaction in the block 🤣) Anyway thought I'd mention it. As I find it interesting. It's hard to buy, but we are used to those shenanigans 🤣
Probably worth throwing $5 at it for the laugh.
Apparently the founder tried turning it into a runes token on BTC. Could they be scared of it? I don't know.
