hah that's an unholy hack i set up back when i was youtubing more that combines snap cam, OBS and a fake green screen. would be glad to write it up if you like to tinker, but it's not for the faint of heart

metamitya and i had been talking about building something similar into knov cause it does make for way nicer screencasts, but no definite plans yet. loom.com is similar though and i've heard good things

it's kinda tricky to get yourself inserted w/ no box like that, but it's not hard at all in OBS to just put yourself in a box, you just add your camera as a layer & then you can resize & place the box of yourself,,,,,, slightly more advanced in OBS is to make different scenes to switch between, i recommend assigning them keys from the keys assigny menu it has, & then you can have like a full screen of yourself, just your screen, yourself inlayed on the screen, & switch around,,,,, i very much recommend OBS, OBS isn't as user-hostile as most software these days, it's almost usable, only took me like a week to feel comfortable with it
