I actually like the 0:00-4:06 part most
the 0:44 to 0:54 part has a nice tune too
1EMRkUjep9QygbM92wEEQpxEHwMwpXMFac (5858) ·
Beginning of the tune reminds me of a movie scene on a desert road where I envision myself driving with the top down. My hair (if I had any) is blowing and my gas meter has a huge E and I'm looking for gas. 🤣 Get me home!

I know the song is, "Give me Hope" but you know, "GET ME HOME!" My movie scene that I'm not in. 🤣

I like when you sing patience. That's my favorite part.
I need some of that. Patience lol

Great now I got that song stuck in my head😏
1PEBCcihaaEuo2YBtNPXT1JQBSd7Nuad2e ·
Thanks.
The “we might” is sang ever so softly to contrast the more aggressive “fade away” & “never know”

Thanks 🙏
I can sometimes just sit playing the guitar parts in a meditative state.
Chilling & grooving at the same time!
🙏🕊️❤️💪👌🙏
1PEBCcihaaEuo2YBtNPXT1JQBSd7Nuad2e ·
Thanks.
I see the backing vocal as a response to the main vocal. Each side giving each other Hope.
Your patience gives me Hope.
You Give Me Hope.
1PEBCcihaaEuo2YBtNPXT1JQBSd7Nuad2e ·
Thanks 🙏
Hopefully that will happen when people start streaming it, leading them to playing it again or play-listing it.
We could all be in for some royalties then!

Thanks, I love your movie scene. On medium I mention this song being considered for a road trip movie.
There is a “take me home” in the song.
Maybe someone will do a cover but change the words to Get Me Home!

Thanks Sam 🙏
You obviously like playing around with time/words too.

Let’s hope it goes down equally well on the streaming sites.
If so, could be in for some royalties.

Send me the chords if you want❔
🔥💚 I would like to learn that groove😋🤤
1PEBCcihaaEuo2YBtNPXT1JQBSd7Nuad2e ·
Very 1st part is pick slowly upward on barred e shape - 5th fret (A) without barring. Play all strings then do same at normal E chord. AEAE
Next Guitar riff starts on barred A shape at 7th fret (E). Barre index on 7th then hammer on ring finger. Then ebg.
1PEBCcihaaEuo2YBtNPXT1JQBSd7Nuad2e ·
Chords for guitar riff
E A D A
See how you get on. The ebg notes above are wrong, It should be ef#g on fret 7,9,11 on A string, then b on fret 9 on D string then hammer on 11 on d string.
Probably best if I show on video but can’t make 1 at the moment.

1PEBCcihaaEuo2YBtNPXT1JQBSd7Nuad2e ·
There once was a time I tried, lord I tried
But it never felt right all my life, so lord I cried
If there was a time, u know.
I’d think about it all the time & so
I’ve never felt that there was a time.
Patience don’t take it slow, we might fade away if we
1PEBCcihaaEuo2YBtNPXT1JQBSd7Nuad2e ·
don’t let go Oh no, no, no.
Patience now take me home
we might never know.
If we don’t let go
Oh no, no, no
You say you’ll lose control
we can only hope
We both so want to know
oh so let’s go
Show me
Give me hope
Your patience gives me hope
Give me Hope

All the instruments drop at that moment so that the message (Show me, Give Me Hope) can be heard
I have posted the lyrics in a reply to somebody
I will try to find them and branch them, or I might put them on bitpost.
