I firmly believe that the only way this occurs is after the world adopts a tokenized-access global public ledger blockchain such as the BitCoin network at scale. If "data is the new oil", and the world's data-of-value goes onchain for security or to be time-stamped and verified, then the token needed to access this network would become the world's informational commodity money. It would be in the wallets of almost everybody, and with a stable/growing global demand for blockchain use would become the second and eventually by natural processes first cash of choice for the world's inhabitants.
Only BitCoin scaled, protocol-locked, and restored has shown this potential capability.
