I'd like to think they harnessed it from lightening striking a dead tree and learned to keep it alive by feeding it, from there learned how to recreate it. Like a village discovering at once, but i also think a lot of humans died during that discovery.

Someone would have started it first and I wonder how long after did someone on the other side of the World start a fire?
1DL2kssJGtY9szPfURVt7dxR1JsMXvBKZH (5465) ·
Was it in Africa first?
1CN7A2a37yaEeye7EV43UT1P4Rp7e7Tum5 ·
Going off evolution all started in Africa until the ice age, which they would have needed fire to survive.
1DL2kssJGtY9szPfURVt7dxR1JsMXvBKZH (5465) ·
So it branched out from there and lets say on other side of the globe groups of people started a fire without any knowledge from Africa?

yall buying into that evolution from africa crap...pffft

If this is the road you want to take, Maui the demi-god from Polynesian culture stole fire from down below. And Hawaiin culture has a very similar story, so maybe they actually discovered it from volcanos.

the best part of twetch is no one knows if your serious or not... especially when u got no room for jk at the end...
we are a created being, fire was taught to us, not figured out by us... if that were true, apes would be chucking flaming spears by now.

So cavemen didn't figure out rub couple sticks together which made smoke then fire? When did cavemen have their first barbecue?

Wonderwerk cave in south Africa shows evidence of humans cooking with fire dating back about a million years ago.

answer me this, why do apes(smart enough for sign language, etc) why do they not think of fire? they barely think of tools, yet they're suppose to be evolving longer than us... what gives? Why are we furless yet smarter, how the hell does that happen?

you should watch some loyd pie... he, as far as i can tell, proved that mankind did not evolve on earth but were constructed by "aliens" as a slave race. We have less chromosomes than apes, which is an evolutionary impossibility. Someone taught us fire.

Human primates were global & using fire already 2-3 million years ago.
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
In Firestone article I discuss chimps throwing flint rocks at bush pigs which if hit another flint rock could have started fire. Main point is that fire already been around millions of years (>2 <15 MY) long long before the ice age 10,000 years ago.
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
My other major point I discovered in Monkey Mystery article is humans closer related Orangs than chimps & monkey evolution from India & early human primate evolution SE Asia then Eurasia spreading into Africa.

Africa was an island from 60-25MYA & mammalian family of monkeys-primates-humans not native to there rather invaded after 25 MYA when Africa crashed into Eurasia.
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
Homo Erectus had fire 🔥 & was all over the world with it already 2-3 Million years Ago. Took <<1 MYA for it to spread. So can’t give you a firm answer but I can narrow down the time interval. Happened fast around 2.5 MYA.
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
Just like Jungle Book discovery that Tigers afraid of fire 🔥 is what gave Orangs the courage to descend from trees. They were also forced to come down from flooding as Sundaland continent in SE Asia sank.
1DL2kssJGtY9szPfURVt7dxR1JsMXvBKZH (5465) ·
At when fire was started where were all the tribes living around the world?
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
It’s annoying because archeology shows Homo Erectus was already all over the place (India, Eurasia, Africa etc) so hard to say where first. They all had fire so likely they learned it from their proto-human ancestors.
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
This supported by archeology as humanoids with fire from 3.3 MYA but humans only 2-3 MYA. Excerpt from Firestone article:

I wonder if flint was used instead of 2 pieces of wood rubbed together to start first fires as their wouldn't be as much traces left of wood that start fires
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
I saw a pattern of explosion of both monkeys ~40 MYA, Primates ~20 MYA & Humans ~3MYA where suddenly successful species becomes an instant in geological time global success. As Humans we get too cocky as we not been here in earth as a species all that long
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
Full article: http://imeddo.club/news/blog/2019/12/
Note I wrote that in paradigm of thinking about chimps but needs rethinking as to ask “When did Orangutangs first discover fire”. Potentially pushes timeline back millions of years to 14MY not just 6 MY.
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
I do believe that fire 🔥 really was the competitive edge humans needed to scare away tigers when they came down from trees & to later survive periods of crazy climate change maintains for several millions of years now a global species status.
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
That’s my take. First flint on flint for a spark but later flint on Firestone (pyrite (iron sulfur) to make spark. This Firestone even in us down to the biochemical level I talk about in my article. http://imeddo.club/news/blog/2019/12/
1DL2kssJGtY9szPfURVt7dxR1JsMXvBKZH (5465) ·
Its that humans would have just thought it out how to make fire as they would have discovered heat can be produced then got curious how to make it hotter and hotter
1L6MZ4Kp2YitpFqC7B2vHzXtwcv7rhFfJV (3628) ·
So when looking for evidence of early human fires 🔥 you can find it near flint deposits (like Flint Michigan for example).
1DL2kssJGtY9szPfURVt7dxR1JsMXvBKZH (5465) ·
If they used rubbing dry wood together to make fire there wouldn't be evidence it would have either been burnt to ashes all decayed to nothing

Yes but when we can find the wood ash from the burnt fires it allows for carbon dating (analyzing the ratio of carbon isotopes to estimate age of the burnt wood). Oldest ones to my current knowledge in Denosovian cave Siberia.

Too pint point a couple pieces of wood which started fire which is millions of years old be almost a miracle unless preserved some how for some weird reason

The ancient history of humans is kinda unflattering as it indicates we were vegetarian tree dwellers who turned into carnivorous cave orks making us the omnivorous alpha predator creatures we are today.

Ewoks (&wookies) are George Lucas fictional furry creatures from Star War series based on (in my opinion) a cross between cat people & orangutangs. Avatar does better job with cat people (who are really primitive humans).
