I am finding that I don't use the "like" feature on Twetch except to reward authors of a few of the most exceptional responses.
I am not sure if this is a positive or negative signal for the feature on the whole.

just like something if you like it, don't think about it. it's like a couple cents dude.
I'm not balking at the cost of it, and as I said in the OP, I'm not suggesting it's either positive or negative. I'm merely mentioning what I've noticed about my behavior on Twetch.
yeah i feel you! it's impossible to like everything and there is a need to be more selective. i find myself liking posts that aren't exceptional, and i stopped second guessing the process. i haven't spent much time here lately anyway tbh. to busy w/ work.
I actually try to be more mindful about it that way I 'like' more posts that I value because I want to encourage more of such posts in the future, but it's not something I really think about much.
I think there's *something* here, some piece of info from this experience to point towards a better way to do it, but I just can't put my finger on it right now.
