I find myself wanting to create or do new things, but I get stuck.

Every time I get stuck in the process of creation, it's usually one of three things:
- I lack prerequisite knowledge to proceed
- I lack the time (or time management) skills to proceed
- Creativity tapped and needs to recharge
Why are you getting stuck?
I have this feeling, while I'm working, that I need to be doing other things, first or as higher priority. Then, I never get around to the things I care about doing.
Maybe you don't actually care about doing the things you're putting off? Or at least not enough to accomplish them?
If you care, you will find the time :) Even if it's only a little bit every once and a while.
I'm trying every day to make time to study javascript. I'm getting some basics down. I also made a short goal list. Getting more focused. Thanks for your help!
No worries! javascript.info and freecodecamp.org are fantastic resources for getting started with JS.
Just be careful, it's a language with a lot of tricks, "gotchas," and compatibility issues (ES5 vs. 6, etc.) and can be unkind to beginners.
Good luck, btw. Learning to program is hard but very rewarding. It took me months of arduous work and algorithm challenges until I could build useful things.
If you can clear the FCC algo challenges, you'll know you're ready to build real-world apps :)
I'll check out these resources and challenges. I am great with photoshop/html/css, so I have experience in front end development. I'm very excited to learn js. Seems very powerful.
