I find myself using the Top filter on Twetch more often. It's very useful to catch up on the top posts

how can the top filter improve?
Actually it sucks. I am using it less and less. Probably because noise is measured as value. Nr. of comments means little to the quality of the post.
We discussed a little bit about it here.

I guess top posts have a specific goal in mind. I'd say, top = valuable and you can measure it by money.
Three weeks ago I still shared your view though.
It's good though to discover people who are good to follow.
But once you find them following works better.

@4 the top filter will be improved by making likes cheaper. Likes are a better value signal than comments. Make them the same cost as comments and watch the magic happen.
That being said, I do use the top filter regularly.
I use it each day to check top day comments.
I don't check the latest filter.
I want to discover people from the people I already follow
E.g. If you comment on a post I want to see it in my feed
Or if you retwetch a post
The top filter is sometimes useful. E.g. weekly is spammy posts, daily not so
Top post is great....only problem is @100 has a post on there that i cant scroll past 🤬🤬🤬 hes always breaking shit
the TOP filter should be just 1 click & go. Not a scrolldown.
click on TOP -> show default like day. Then allow users to change it to week etc. You can even remember the latest setting & display that again next time.
MUCH better UX.
You should allow different ordering like dir.sv
Again you set a default one by allow the user to change & remember his last preference.
suggestion: votes, comments, money earned (this one would be awesome!), special (which is a private twetch algorithm)
Top Twetch should weigh likes more heavily than reply’s imo
So base it on money earned instead of the total interactions with the post
Yes. Weight by money should be best.
Is it ironic I found this post from the "top" tab?
