Find me ONE individual who is excited about USING Ethereum for a real world usecase? I’ll wait.
Everyone just talks about staking Ethereum to earn more Ethereum. Ok, but who’s actually going to use the chain?

all the defi degens love it.
And theres lots of them

Were you not VERY excited to recieve your UNI airdrop?
1Kuzu6eq1YkDtBCgAk5LcjhviGGkW3xmHr (3795) ·
The problem is there aren’t any of the ‘normal sane user types’ to balance it.
1Kuzu6eq1YkDtBCgAk5LcjhviGGkW3xmHr (3795) ·
No, I couldn’t care.
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
metamask alone has over a million users
1Kuzu6eq1YkDtBCgAk5LcjhviGGkW3xmHr (3795) ·
What kind of ‘use’? Because the tx fees alone must stop any genuine usage. The only usage I ever hear about if DeFi
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
ETH is the gas for DeFi. There's over 15b lpcked in that. NFT collectibles trading is big
... and raising money for scam ICOs
1Kuzu6eq1YkDtBCgAk5LcjhviGGkW3xmHr (3795) ·
Nothing there impresses me.
I’m not just being negative on purpose, I just don’t see any genuine real world usage. Just a load of trading bubbles and pointless staking purely for returns.

im not disputing ETH works like …. Its already maxed out. ypu literaly can't even create one very popular app on it.
but hey 🤷♂️
My advice to all the budilers is to study eth ecosystem and copy it. tron, eos, polka are all doing it
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
and actually make the … work cuz bsv is cheap and fast
1Kuzu6eq1YkDtBCgAk5LcjhviGGkW3xmHr (3795) ·
Ethereum’s price has been rising more than bsv, that has led you to conclude that we need to copy them.
We don’t.
We need to get big enterprise and consumer adoption. Once we really start this, they will all try to copy bsv.
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
dude
speaking purely objectively, ETH is miles ahead in everything. The DEXs, the Defi stuff, smart contracts, users, interoperability, the 1000's of ico ideas.
Uniswap alone puts BSV to shame.
Blind BSV maximalism is hell of a drug.
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
and who the hell is speaking of price. did I mention it ?
ive been interested in eth since 2016. I sold all my bags when i realized it cant scale.
1Kuzu6eq1YkDtBCgAk5LcjhviGGkW3xmHr (3795) ·
Ethereum has a larger ecosystem currently yes.
You could say they are ahead in that sense.

Im a bsv maximalist but i dont really dabble like that in the market i get urge sometimes to sell and buy back everyday. Cause theres always a surge and then a dump but the feeling of getting caught with your pants down sucks. So it bsv and realestate only
1z4hdDnjSwqkukN6VuSFjfmA9Zj29YHWc (25395) ·
For me anyway
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
sure but why u bringing up the price too? where have I mentioned the price.
This is such a lame bsv maxi talking point.
1Gfk8QkCK8W2Ho1SG7UUZmCUqArzvZsit7 (7454) ·
Ive dabbled in staking and nft's.... fees are holding back eth. I believe eth 2.0 is going to solve this problem. BSV needs to step it up or they'll be left even further in the dust. Im a BSV maxi...but i also definately see the use cases of other chains.
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
exactly.
1Gfk8QkCK8W2Ho1SG7UUZmCUqArzvZsit7 (7454) ·
BSV could have been the one coin to rule them all....we … that up. I believe in the future 1000's of chains will die....but there will still be 1000s of chains that do 1000's of different jobs. Coins will have utility or die.
1Kuzu6eq1YkDtBCgAk5LcjhviGGkW3xmHr (3795) ·
I’ve said on a few occasions that if Eth 2.0 proves to solve key fundamental issues, like scalability, then I’d be more interested. But Vitalik said in a few years they could handle 3-5K txs per second. BSV achieves this today, bsv just needs usage growth
1Gfk8QkCK8W2Ho1SG7UUZmCUqArzvZsit7 (7454) ·
Adoption is holding us back...always has. I feel like newbies get on twitter to learn more about crypto...and are immediately told by all of crypto-twitter that BSV is a scam and are immediately turned off. This is what happened to me but i was too curious

have been pretty popular getting people on twetch from twitter
you have to focus on non-crypto people that don't care about speculation but can see the benefits of censorship resistance in social media
@15671 bot is also very useful & good for adoption
1z4hdDnjSwqkukN6VuSFjfmA9Zj29YHWc (25395) ·
Twetch should have been second … first. People too busy putting their ideology before their paper. Fake ideology btw. Cause they hypocrites
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
twetch is not censorship resistant

I agree, I’ve been using Twetchdat on random people who tweet ‘save this tweet’, I’m sure it intrigues some of them.

@1 dawg start making a bsv tiktok now! Like right now. Like drop what you are doing and make it now. Call it twetchtok but its a must. Hey man call me … all you want. But thats where its at

Ive had 10 or so non-crypto folk join twetch. I gave them bsv and got them started. 0 still use twetch. A lot has changed since then and i bet they would enjoy the new features on here more than the old school twetch
Most crypto folk are too brainwashed

dont worry yall we got this... just need time and support

it is in the sense that twetch cannot delete your content since they don't control it
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
meh
if we talking about nocoiners or non developers (99.9% of people), once twetch deletes your stuff from their website it is pretty much as good as gone.
1F8Xao4zgGEcfZRQpn1SroARGbCK4CjkyC (561) ·
the key is to focus on using the new group chat feature !
you create a group chat and invite all of them into the chat, which is free for them. that way they can use twetch intensively without a funding issue & you can help them discover it in private
1F8Xao4zgGEcfZRQpn1SroARGbCK4CjkyC (561) ·
If twetch starts deleting stuff then competitors will pop up to display your content. This facts means twetch has no incentive to delete stuff.
game theory
1D7de6e9xuwU4nJBeXymNLGjkFHCNzEbDj (725) ·
just need a wallet that has data export and management features
1D7de6e9xuwU4nJBeXymNLGjkFHCNzEbDj (725) ·
that way someone can take all their nazi memes over to Twarler when they get leapfrogged off of Twetch
1F8Xao4zgGEcfZRQpn1SroARGbCK4CjkyC (561) ·
you can already do that using @12 since twetch integrates these onchain files natively
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
so whats the plan then? the nazi meme producer gonna hop different obscure twitter clones (that need to be constantly made) until they find the one that gives 0 … about displaying nazi memes and …?
network effect how?
1F8Xao4zgGEcfZRQpn1SroARGbCK4CjkyC (561) ·
it's called law and the free market. Network effects works between people that want to cooperate, and everyone is free to not cooperate with what is too extreme or unlawful.
Bitcoin will have the biggest network effect anyway
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
What i mean is if say twetch bans you, Ok now u have your data and u import it to a new website that you or someone made that allows the forbidden content but has 100 users vs twitters 200 million.
Your network effect is screwed
1F8Xao4zgGEcfZRQpn1SroARGbCK4CjkyC (561) ·
1) you are still spending bitcoin fees to grow the bitcoin network
2) you are still in the bitcoin economy
3) you are still in twetch, it's not symetrical: A is too extreme for B but not the opposite
4) most people are not too extreme and want to interact
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
what??
Ok u guys keep thinking u can just migrate content across obscure social networks.
1F8Xao4zgGEcfZRQpn1SroARGbCK4CjkyC (561) ·
not saying it's perfect already, but the game theory on twetch is different, which is the most important
with good incentives you may never need to actually need the fallback, because the existence of it may be enough
& it's going in the right direction
1D7de6e9xuwU4nJBeXymNLGjkFHCNzEbDj (725) ·
Is there a way beyond this?
Lets say i tell my wallet who im interested in; and then I choose which platform i want to use as a lens to display their content, or wallet even.
If that makes any sense
1D7de6e9xuwU4nJBeXymNLGjkFHCNzEbDj (725) ·
data so modular there is competition to host it
1E5wYaMr6BYL3qHSZQ3sPqaQHvaCVoYcfh (678) ·
maybe
Is there a youtube tutorial on how to spin up a twetch clone in a couple mins just in case they ban me here ?
1Gfk8QkCK8W2Ho1SG7UUZmCUqArzvZsit7 (7454) ·
I do believe so....look as joshua's utube
1D7de6e9xuwU4nJBeXymNLGjkFHCNzEbDj (725) ·
In this futuristic dream world of mine, you dont clone a social media server; they sit watching the chain, and I connect to an aggregator in my wallet that shows me the options for display. And why do they do this? for a small piece of the pie
