I finally got the searching figured out. It took me a while! The problem was, it only really works well for small phrases (<=3 words?), but most posts are longer. So you get this option to search any selected post, but it almost always returns no results.

this is true. you can edit the search by just typing in the new message input and it will update the search, or you can write shorter messages that are just dedicated for searching, eg:
social zettelkasten
