lol yea it seems it's not actually reading twitter in realtime it just unhelpfully hallucinates tweets. looks like it was trained on twitter data tho, if you ask it what metamitya's been tweeting about it talks about treechat

yup. sonar is a llama 3 finetune that perplexity maintains and hosts and they hook it up to the internet with the same machinery they use for perplexity.ai. we're using it through the api

nope, not unless you ask it to. might be able to get it do it on it's own by tweaking the system prompt tho, would have to experiment
