some Feldenkrais lessons prove otherwise, I feel movement when I move on particular angles.
That recent Rolfing experience also provided proof (for me). I was firmly rooted into the ground and could move in any direction once the sphenoid and pelvis had connected. The skull also has moving parts - see Cranio Sacral Balancing - as does the pelvis. Those sutures are (still) connected with cartilage and they move:
One of the components of the cranial concept for practitioners who practice cranial osteopathy or craniosacral therapy is that the bones of the head move along the sutures. The movement can be described as an expansion and compression that take place much how the rib cage moves during respiration.
