So far Twetch is a failed experiment.
- 2 cents to post won't kill bots
- Most of the content here is distopic: Hatred around masks, conspiracy theories, etc
- Politics conversation here is as dualistic as in Twitter with lots of hatred to the "other side"

- Mainstream will never pay two cents to post and have a conversation when there are free competitors
- Twetch's brain refuses to evolve
- I don't own my data here, it is public data, everyone owns it
- Twetch's leadership don't respect their peers

nearly every bot that started is dead now.

the rest is just like your opinion man.

Twetch ·

They are dead because there is no value here for them because there are almost nobody here. If you had 1 billion people here you would see them flourish. It is all my opinion, of course, but I took my time to observe and to think about it.

Twetch ·

To end it in a positive note, I do respect the effort so far, and I do wish you can overcome the difficulties. I know it is hard to build a successful product.
This is also the reason you should be more respectful to others that are trying the same thing.

Twetch ·

thanks. why do you use twetch? is it useful to you?

Twetch ·

I use it because it is new and it is on BSV, I am experimenting with almost anything in those categories.
So far, it has not been that useful TBH, I think this is clear in my OP . My curiosity has kept me here, I want to see where everything-BSV goes.

Twetch ·

are already living in a dystopia and twetch lets us document it. I like seeing emotional takes and think people ought to be angry.
I prefer to not label other people’s emotions but pretty much never seen users here say they hate anything

Twetch ·

Bots are dead/dying because they deliver no value. Zero ROI. Why drop a nickel for a like on third party copy & paste content from Twitter? If there were a billion people here they’d die because the content they’re delivering would come direct from owners.

Twetch ·

Imagine thinking the @17329 /u's were anything other than your own personal RSS gopher engine. And instead, suspected you were going to get rich quick off'em. Dead ass 🤣.

Twetch ·

The benefit of the bots are that now you will follow other people to extend your own following group.
Before the bots there was no real benefit in following someone, because you could see all the posts in latest anyway.
Now people don't read Latest anymore

No boiling point asking

Maybe for some bots that try to earn from delivering content, inoffensive bots. I am referring to bots that have budgets to change narratives. For those, 2c/post 5x/like is nothing, specially if the liked and the liking accounts belong to the same entity.
