I am a fan of Twetch, but why should I pay 1$ for "Dark Mode"?
Isn't it too much?
IMO this policy should be changed.
Just a suggestion.

I asked for a reviews because I thought exactly same thing.
Who says you (should) do anything? If you pay $1 then it's worth it to you. If you dont, then it isn't.
Not to be rude, but we are talking about $1 here. .
Well to be honest it's my dollar. They can charge whatever they want. Doesn't mean that I will find it worthwhile. What's to say next won't be a required fee to login and use the paid UI enhancement.
They could make it $100 to login for all I care. I would just look for a new platform and indoubtably I would eventually find one. Free market capitalism. This is what BSV is about.
Why should they build Dark Mode if nobody pays for it? There are no ads here.
If Twetch want to have millions of users some day, maybe a smaller charge for the basic need like "Dark Mode" is much better.
I didn't ask for a pay to play add on. As a capitalism test case Lavar ball charged 500 for Z02 shoes.
Dark mode is a "basic need" now huh? 😂
We need a trending section.

Dark mode is a standard UI improvement. It does nothing to help you monetize. In fact high contrast can be considered a basic need for people with poor eyesight.
You can code it yourself and run it as a plug-in on your browser. Sell it if you want, but in house is easier/better and it's a paid option (for now).

I'm not a techie, I'm just a ordinary user, but if I really need dark mode, I'll find many free ways without coding.
I just think this issue has nothing to do with blockchain technology and it doesn't seem to be worthwhile paying 1$.
You can make your own GUI.
