Falling for the gay and retarded left/right false dichotomy divide and rule operation is caused largely by two things:

Herd instincts
Misdiagnosis of where we are at when it comes to power.
Our herd instincts make us want to join a herd (left or right) in order to feel safe.
Our misdiagnosis of where we are at makes us think that we are looking at a fight for power between the corrupt shepherds and we cheer for one side (what we consider the good shepherds).
But the fight for power was decided a long time ago. The apparatus won. The people lost. The entire theater between left and right (unbeknownst to many of the actors) is there to hide this fakt.
To re-enter the fight we have to stop cheering for the corrupt shepherds and self-organize as the people. Leave the herd and join a group that isn't all about being corrled and slaughtered.
