It is factual to a point, but worth noting majority rule can be tyrannical, so make sure individual rights are protected. Also the only true campaign finance reform would be to reduce power so less influence to buy. Rank choice voting alone would be huge.

In Canada anyone can form a political party and get on a ballot with enough support, and the ruling parties do change at times. The US system is identical to a one party system in the eyes of many outsiders.
