Demographics are the war no one wants to fight because it sounds less dramatic than missiles and flags.
But China has it. America has it. Most of the rich world has it.
No children means fewer workers, fewer taxpayers, fewer builders, fewer soldiers, fewer customers, and eventually fewer people pretending GDP can be raised by vibes, apps, and monetary policy.
A civilisation without children is just a retirement village with aircraft carriers.
America’s way of life does not survive on debt, DoorDash, and three Labradoodles named after therapy concepts. It needs families. It needs continuity. It needs people willing to have a future rather than merely consume the present.
Growth is not magic. Someone has to be born to do it.
