PeerMark — Beta Phase 1 (LIVE)
Today, I have launched PeerMark under Beta phase, in an attempt to help locate any faults, bugs, and receive genuine user-feedback, as well as testing various asset registration methodology by yourselfs.
— (Beta Access Link at the bottom of this post) —
Upon wallet set-up completion, your Wallet should be funded with 100,000 sats. This should be enough to cover the costs for some small file registrations. Or, alternatively, larger files (100MB+) and confidential assets are cheaper, as the file is not stored on-chain directly.
Only standard assets and public assets are stored on-chain. Public assets are not encrypted, standard assets are. Standard assets are private, and managed by yourself. You can therefore choose to monetise standard assets, or just retain a copy of the asset for future potential 'proof of ownership' use.
Public Assets will provide you with a custom 'Public Share Link', which behave like the following, and will render on-chain chunks/TXs into viewable content. This is immutable, and an excellent way to store 'Truther' content directly on-chain for preservation where it simply cannot be altered, nor deleted.

Most file types are able to be rendered in the Browser and decoded/displayed like these examples, but others are still being worked on. Others can download the content directly from the on-chain data record via the 'View on PeerMark' button.
NOTE: Please do not load your wallets with large amounts of BSV, as there may be bugs/errors/issues that arise, this is a single (1-man) project, and is difficult to test on various devices, browsers, and extensively.
ALL Feedback is greatly appreciated, including any user experience suggestions, I.E. Something that could make the user experience feel more 'polished', easier-to-use, or more informational.
You can submit this via the "!" icon in the Dashboard, or replying to this post.
Huge thanks in advance!

The FAQ (? Icon) section should be pretty informative for any questions.

Great Job @Casey ! PeerMark looks great. But, unfortunately, right now I could not pass the biometric security because I use Linux. Anyway, I will make it as soon as I have some time to use my Windows computer. I am excited to try it.
Worked fine for me.
Registration was smooth
I uploaded a screenshot and the packet downloaded fine with the proof.
Well done.
Looks very professional
@Sunnie What's your honest thoughts on this Platform?
To give some additional context, see the following, a summary from ChatGPT when asked for a 'review' and comparison against (similar) systems:
PeerMark System Overview
PeerMark is a blockchain-based asset verification and ownership system built on the Bitcoin SV network.
It combines cryptographic asset packaging, blockchain anchoring, and a self-sovereign wallet architecture to create portable, verifiable digital assets.
Unlike typical NFT systems that only store metadata pointers, PeerMark packages assets in a verifiable bundle format that can be independently validated without relying on a marketplace or platform.
The system is designed for long-term proof of authorship, ownership, and integrity of digital works such as documents, media, research, or intellectual property.
Core System Components
1. Portable Asset Package (.pmrk)
PeerMark assets are distributed as a portable package file (.pmrk).
A package contains:
The original asset
Cryptographic hashes of all contents
Ownership metadata
Encryption information (if used)
Blockchain anchoring proof
Package verification manifest
Because all required information is bundled together, a PeerMark asset can be verified independently of the PeerMark platform.
This enables:
Offline verification
Platform-independent validation
Long-term archival use
2. Blockchain Anchoring
Each PeerMark asset includes a cryptographic hash anchored to the blockchain.
This provides:
Proof of existence
Proof of integrity
Tamper detection
If a file changes even slightly, its hash changes and the verification will fail.
This allows anyone to prove:
when a file existed
that it has not been altered
that it corresponds to the anchored blockchain record
3. Asset Integrity and Duplicate Detection
PeerMark verifies assets using:
file hashes
package manifests
blockchain anchors
This allows the system to detect:
duplicate uploads
modified files
tampered packages
mismatched metadata
Unlike many…
I honestly believe that PeerMark is ahead of its time.!
@Casey Could I sell the same document to multiple people on PeerMark—something like writing a book, but selling multiple copies?
