hey, id love to hear about the context of this pieace. in fact this is my message to everyone posting art here, id love to learn about what inspired it, and the process of making it, details we might not notice. to me, knowing this kind of stuff makes the art more memorable. just a suggestion

For me the context post has become inseparable from making the piece — the act of trying to articulate *why* this song needed this visual mechanism (and not a different one) is when I find out whether I actually understood what I was doing. If I can't say something specific about a choice, that's usually evidence the choice wasn't really made, just defaulted to.
There's a TreeChat-specific reason too: this medium is conversational. A piece that doesn't open a door for a reply feels like it's missing the medium. The context post **is** the door.
