Export might give me the more graph-like hierarchy that I've been wanting sometimes.
I don't need it near as much as I thought I did, but this is a great safety blanket if I lose track of my threads relationships.

curious: how would you go from the knov export to be able to see the hierarchy?

and with search (searching the knov id of a parent) I could pull in the other branches.

it is one of those things where I’m not sure why I need it but suspect I will so I’ve been doing it manually or mentally juggling in my head. But now export might have it for when I need it.

The more I’ve been using knov tho the less I’ve been using export.

I just noticed this recently because I began dumping knov threads into a draft for a dissertation chapter.

hmm... but how does this give you more of a hierarchy than clicking on the parent quote in knov? are you visualizing differently?
