EXCHANGE DELISTING COMPLAINTS
Later today, I will be adding email template letters onto the https://boostbsv.com website.
It's time that we 'attack' the Exchanges, and hold them responsible.
One template will be a formal complaint, which anybody can submit to ANY exchange which has delisted BSV. I will include a list of the exchanges on the website, along with the relevant emails to contact for each exchange.
The other will be a DSAR and formal complaint combined. This template should be used if you hold (or previously held) an account with any particular exchange, or used their services. In other words, a DSAR is simply a request for ALL information held on you, by the exchange.
What is a DSAR, and why submit a DSAR?
Well — although we don't need the information from them, a DSAR is a Data-Subject Access Request. This is relevant to GDPR (or your jurisdictions equivalent). The exchange will be required to give all of your personal information which they hold on you, every single last little bit.
The reason being, this is a legal request. By law, the exchange have 30 days (with the ability to extend to 90 days at MOST, in certain circumstances) to respond and provide your data to you.
This is a huge nuisance for them, as it often requires staff members to spend hours going through records to ensure they have got everything. It also ensures that they are acknowledging the complaint which is logged in the same email regarding the DSAR.
With the recent class action law suits — these additional complaints, along with bringing additional attention to the matter, will hopefully make them realise the severity of their actions.
Let's do our bit for the BSV community. In numbers, we have power. Let's flood them with complaints, every last one of them.
