Does excess carbohydrates with low nutritional value put too much strain on the lungs resulting in a higher prevalence of Tuberculosis?
Weston A Price focused on carbohydrates, but I cannot remember if he explicitly explained how he thought this developed. In my guess, the lungs which push out carbon dioxide have to work double time to remove the waste, too much working means it is prone to other issues like Tuberculosis.
