For example, if give someone a $5.00 tip I want to elevate their post so others are more likely to see it. Twetchers should be able to promote the good stuff. Valuable filtering/sorting.

Exactly. I feel like I'm telling Twetch "Here take my money!" And they're oblivious. The economics of Twetch should be priority number one.
The more money someone has, the more exposure they can give to posts. That doesn't seem entirely fair. Sounds a bit like steemit where rich people can spotlight whatever they like. I'd prefer if every 'like' holds the same weight.
That said, I'd love a custom donation button for posts! Sometimes you'll like something so much that $0.05 doesn't cut it.
