yes I have. That moment when what I thought would be a cooked steak arrived at the table. Minced meat with a raw egg on top...."seriously?" that's what I ordered? Well, it was on the menu so people must eat it, I thought to myself. I tentatively took a mouthful with my eyes closed... hhhmm tasted pretty good!!
my most adventurous was raw liver, and I was pleasantly delighted. It had me source great quality meat too, any butcher that says their liver is not good to eat raw I don't buy from.
I've found a few that will sell to me knowing I'll be eating it raw, that's where I buy my meat :)
good strategy. we've been thinking about going to a local butcher but haven't pulled the trigger yet
