At Etowah Indian mounds in Georgia were found buried statues of those who lived there. Why we call them Etowah as obviously they are the “Raccoon Tribe” & no doubt same as the “Moon Eyed People” of Cherokee folklore.

Cherokee would attack the “Moon Eyed People” on full moon to blind them as raccoon 🦝 tribe was nocturnal & even full moon too bright for them apparently.
Moon Eyed People left behind snake shaped stone formations one of which can be found atop Fort Mountain in Georgia. I think it was a representation of the Milky Way in snake form which is why built on top of a mount 🏔 as MW is most clearly visible there.
The Raccoon tribe is very covered up local history as none wants to admit there were red haired white people of European ancestry here before Cherokee 😂
But even the Cherokee is obviously (to me) proto-indo-European language family & I suspect same as relation as “Cherouci” tribe of Western Europe that the Romans mentioned.
So the obvious take home message is that European tribes fighting over America’s long before we are told which fits neatly into standard history as loosely “Carthaginian Empire” territory which was largely hidden from our Roman influenced “western” culture
