As much as I enjoy beef and eggs I don't think I'd enjoy going full carnivore. I also love fruits and tubers like potatoes! I believe in balance ☯️

Since switching back to omnivore from vegan for five years I gained over 5kgs of muscle mass in two months.

Impressive, thanks for sharing. Did you significantly change exercise pattern or caloric intake? Was there any fat gained? When I became vegan noticed a 2.5Kg drop but more than half was fat, will recheck the parameters because it's been a while.

No fat gained. Just lean mass. I actually worked out less than when I was vegan, but perhaps the increased rest periods also helped. Caloric intake is around the same or even a bit less. I feel less hungry. Could probably live on one meal but I love food.

Impressive stats, keep us posted. I haven't got scales atm but got my old heart rate monitor out and during 10-15 min daily exercise peaked just under 160 bpm. I remember peaking at up to 175 when I was vegetarian but not yet vegan but also exercise 1+ hr.

Congratulations, 5kg muscle is A LOT! Being carnivore makes me feel better physically and mentally than having an omnivore diet. That said I miss some of the tasty food and sauces. Omnivore food IS tastier than just plain meat. That's why I cheat:-)

Thanks! Perhaps I'll try one day for the sake of experimentation, but I feel my body runs just fine on glucose.

There's a reason tennis players eat banana and not sausage during their breaks 😄
