What kind of work should these Bitcoin immigrants be doing? Picking some digital fruits and veggies? I would think we'd like to attract the existing entrepreneurs first... the ones that actually have product they are willing to sell for Bitcoin. This is what ultimately makes a currency desirable... having products to buy with it.

It wouldn't be a currency but money.
A currency is a state issued security.
Money is a monopoly commodity.
Sirtoshi explained it really good in a few of his videos in my opinion. It may be on Gavin Mehl's Channel.
And yes, bitcoin is about work. It's like Atlantis in Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged".
