Dr. Yang-Hee Lee was born in Kaesong in 1937. He graduated from Seoul National University in 1959 and earned his Doctorate in Vision Science from the University of Paris in France, where he studied from 1964 to 1968.
Professional Career
• 1968 – 1981: Served as the Head of the Food Science and Technology Laboratory at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) for 13 years.
• 1992 – Retirement: Held the positions of Professor and Associate Director in the Department of Biological Sciences at Myongji University.
• Post-Retirement: Led the New Science (GF) Health Research Group.
Dr. Lee passed away in 2008 at the age of 70.
