I dont use dollars but youre sort of right. if the price of bsv increased then yes fees would increase slightly but no where near as much as btc. id say the main reason is because bsv has a bigger block size and higher throughput so you can achieve thousands more txns in one block. this is also one of the main reasons btc will NEVER be a peer to oeer cash system.

also, dont be fooled by people when they say "oh but im using layer 2"....that not using pure bitcoin, most layer 2 solutions aren't fully on chain

bsv doesnt need any layers, its fully on chain.
