I have done hundreds of hours of user testing interviews. A consistent thing is that people tell you all sorts of things they think they need which they won’t actually use when you build it. In the worst case they will later deny giving the feedback and recommend not using the product. A general rule of thumb is: Users don’t know what they want but know what they don’t want. The strongest signal a user can give they are confident about what they want is giving you their money.
