I don’t want to be a cyborg before there’s only one global chain.

I don’t want to get infected with some ransomware. One of the reasons.

What’s yours?

That depends on your definition of cyborg. I think we already are.

Implants like pacemakers are cyborg technology. I really don't want anything implanted in me either, but would I take a new heart transplant if they 3D printed me one from my own cells? @5
This doesn't require integration with any blockchain though.

Sensory cybernetics, sapient implants, hyperxeno augmentations... such stuff, not pacemakers 😉

I don't want to give my wife cancer and/or another miscarriage again.

I get ya, and it tends to be something we just adapt to. Back when the first pacemakers and artificial hearts were created it was a /huge/ debate.

Now we can make you a new organ from your own stem cells and with CRISP, edit the DNA to augment it. Programmable bodies are going to be a thing, and I doubt anyone can stop it. So, morally, ethically, the debate must happen.

I prayed for you rn.
btw you lived through it, must of been hard. But you both should be much stronger now, in every way, stronger in love.
