I don't think the quest should map 1-1 to twitter. What's going on in the thinking and writing on knovigator is different from twitter. There's a different relationship to data/development of thought and socially they are different communities that we cultivate in each.

im struggling with this... bc it would be pretty easy to just have the tweeted messages become references to the tweets...
that way knov can become a way to more easily make connections between threads in twitter by just quoting those same Messages in the threads you draft here
the thing is i find myself doing this in a hacky way anyways but i end up searching for the tweeted quest in knov and then following the link at the end out to twitter and quoting the relevant tweet back into the quest... but if each knov message was just converted to a tweet (similar to how you might save a tweet via the chrome extension) just quoting it from knov would work so that when you tweeted out the quest it would quote the correct tweets
im not sure you would lose much by doing this ...
my main concern was whether they would be editable. But at the same time, this would leverage more of the search and re-use aspects of knovigator.
and yea i end up having to search for the tweeted too which is hacky
right so the question is... what would happen if you wanted to edit that message... you could just insert a new message and copy the text into it, from my experience i dont often re-edit those so often that this would be a lot of friction ??
with tweets yea. i edit stuff before i send out anyway. and i typically want to re-use tweets if i've already tweeted them (rather than just edit them) so i don't think it introduces too much friction.
in a way it better resembles the status of its being "published" on twitter. the note has a different life in the threads than other private or untweeted notes... or blogs

I made quests that were published to twitter track the published tweets 1 to 1 [[knovigator twitter]]
so they are synced and a knov message knows it has a tweet counterpart
these tweeted messages are marked with a twitter icon where the edit button used to be... as they become uneditable after being tweeted
the win is that when you quote these in knov and then tweet out as a thread it will quote the synced tweet in twitter!
