I don't think that "it has more power to enslave after all".
It is a neutral tool, similar to most technologies and every individual and in the end humanity as a whole decides how it is being applied.
You can take a car and drive from a to b or you can drive it through the pedestrian precinct and kill some people. Or dress the car in metal plates and put a canon on top for military purposes.
Bitcoin itself is a neutral technologie.
