It is hard to trust information from ones own govt and often harder to trust outside info. How important is reliable info though with respect to the average person? Because the preparations I have the power to make are actually fairly simple and affordable

Each year the whole world is infected by new viruses. Every new flu/cold we get this year is a mutation from last year.
What matters is lethality and morbidity.
There have been 4500 or so confirmed cases but there are many more unreported. The number of new cases doubles each day. About 100 deaths so far.
It goes up by a factor of 1.5 I mean.

I don't have special information. It's just that by looking at the available information I think that other people aren't reacting appropriately. The problem is already very big and it is not contained. Prepare to avoid getting sick!
