i don't think any amount will be enough. you should plan on having to earn your living like everyone else. for, even if you win on a side bet like bitcoin, the victory likely won't be so spectacular that a small stash will simply make you wealthy forever. and even if that were miraculously to happen, you'll still need to do something with your life, which basically means learning to earn your living like everyone else. so you should plan on that.
