I don't see how its gonna work with twetch for the average person, paying for likes or any other interaction that is free on other platforms. its a pain in the ass. I see few likes for every tw, its either your sister or your mother that is willing to pay.

EVERYONE is interesting and valuable in someway. Share a bit of expertise you have to add value to our lives and you will become profitable. Complaining only extracts value, so it becomes unprofitable. Frame of mind is everything in a value based economy.
I think the point is that they aren't really free on other platforms, you're paying with your time (ads) and information about your identity and behaviors that are stuck in that silo (they own it).
Current prices aren't optimal, they are a starting point.
You guys have the money and time to philosophise about value. The average person is a hard working person that uses social media to talk about his little self. Do you think he will be willing to pay for every tweet, like and comment? web search and email?
I am quite happy not to sift through the ramblings of little selfs and bots.
