I don't play video games very much anymore, but my favorite game of all time is still Deus Ex.
A sci-fi FPS RPG (first of it's kind) in a dystopian future with a great storyline and many references to the real world.

Favorite game all time is either pokemon yellow or gears of war
Final Fantasy Tactics was up there with Deus Ex and X-COM to me.
There is a decent redo of that style of tactics game on steam, called 'Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark'
I'll have to try X-COM sometime. Gears of war is pretty badass and grimy. I was never that good at metal gear solid but I always enjoyed watching my friend play it.
Age of Empires 3 and Team Fortress 2.
Red Dead 2 was pretty good too.
