Yes. CSW is the main reason why its not listed on coinbase, binance, ect. It doesn't really matter. Its the only "crypto Currency" that actually works as advertised. 🐲🐸

There is a lot of tribalism and mutual hostility within the crypto communities and it's amplified by the fact that people are trying to pump the coins they hold to get rich. It's not a dumb question and your instincts are correct.
It's encouraging to see people who self-admittedly "don't know much about crypto" using Twetch. A sign applications are actively driving adoption.
Doesn't help when BSVers are threatening to sue Coinbase. It isn't listed for personal reasons. Many of which are dumb, many of which are understandable.
