life is full of suffering. both Buddha & Nietzsche would (happily?) agree. if it is indeed so, let’s accept any excuse to rejoice and celebrate 🎉 for the moment will be short lived. the memories however may last a lifetime

when others celebrate, they’re happy. when i watch others celebrate, i’m happy. if this works both ways, will not our collective happiness exponentially expand when we both celebrate together? only one way to find out 😉 let’s celebrate!

there are always differences between each other, even in identical twins. but by celebrating we can effortlessly put aside those differences and embrace our similarities in the moment. delight is identical across genders, cultures, nations and races

maybe we will return back to fighting tooth and nail tomorrow. then it is even more important that we maximise this moment of respite from the strife. let’s celebrate the relief from our antagonism and love thy enemy if only in the moment

in these mere moments, maybe we will discover the reality that we’re all connected. that your joy is mine and in my joy lies yours. may we catch a glimpse of this collective consciousness that we all belong to, that we all are

freedom is mine. nobody can give it to me & nobody can take it away from me. i’m free to nurture either love or hate towards you. to choose to help or hurt you. to accept or reject you. how can i celebrate such that it expands our freedom not infringes on yours?

when our children see us happy together, they learn that happiness is not only real when shared, but it multiplies exponentially. they are bathed in the joy of community without barriers, of interaction without suspicion, of unity despite diversity

my country is beyond the binary of hateful dichotomies. with millions of gods, thousands of languages & hundreds of cultures there’s plenty of reasons to distrust & hate each other. yet we continue to thrive. why? my guess is the festivals we celebrate

if we really want world peace, an end to wars, resolution of conflicts, we need to learn to play nicely together. the easiest way towards that is to celebrate. find any damn excuse to get together and throw a fucking party 🎉 let’s go!

so i’m celebrating your freedom, your happiness today because it gladdens my heart to watch you celebrate. maybe you’ll do the same when i celebrate. may you find joy in my celebration like i find joy in yours
