I don’t agree with Calvin Ayre that BSV and BTC don’t compete directly, there is a cost to the network being split (competition for users). I do agree that both BSV and BTC will grow in popularity in 2020.
In the long term there will be one clear winner.

Every transaction on another blockchain is a direct loss for SV chain.
On the short term Calvin's mining operation is way bigger than BSV speculation market can provide with miners revenue. I think he is aware now that BSV can't be hostile to BTC in attempts to undermine it, but needs to outcompete it which will take time.
