Do you say niche or nich?

Of all the things, I don’t know why this one particularly gets under my skin. For those that say nich, would you care for a slice of quich.

Haha, glad you asked, it'ss niche! Feel passionately about this one! The language is ENGLISH. don't bastardise it with completely screwing it up. And don't get me started on how North Americans pronounce the word "route".... 😓
