Personally, I'm for freedom not because that seems to be the "winning team", but because it is ethically sound. But it appears that most people choose their ideology based on what advantages they expect from it, not because of ethical considerations.. The soul is always outnumbered by body and mind, otherwise the pagh wouldn't be the great adventure that it is.
