Depression is real, But I think real depression you don't even know you have it. Life is busy... You're a bit down, It's nothing.. I'll get better.
But once you get those physical symptoms come it feels like the earth is caving in from within itself.

And it's what you do with those physical symptoms that matters.
You either realise there's a problem, or you ignore it.
If you keep ignoring it, you spiral your life out. Every moment actively knowing you are depressed and need to fix something is wasted.
If you have the courage to be true to yourself, 'wait a minute' this is not me! You have the foundations to get yourself back. And it takes time.. but you cannot give up on this. And for a small amount of your life, at this point, you need to focus on you.
I dont advocate taking drugs for your depression, but what I do believe is there is usually an underlying cause. For me, it was PCOS. After having two babies and not caring at all about myself, my body also stopped caring about me.
You need to feed your body, every single day. With great nutritious food. With laughter, with happiness, with friends, With things that make you want to work, make you want to make your life and those around you better. With activities.
You need something to be passionate about out of your ordinary day. You need motivation. It's easier said than done, I know. But, when you get those symptoms and you're not you any more, you MUST do the work, no matter how much it daunts you #ToGetYouBack.

Good confession and advice.
Psilocybin can cure depression with a single dose and is completely safe on the brain.
