By definition, controlled opposition will say what you want to hear and promise to do what you want to be done. Sometimes it will even do some of those things, if it's necessary to keep the people in line.
But in the meantime, it will always push the agenda.
Gotta keep that in mind when all those former liberals, leaders and "rougue billionaires" who are now our last hope say and do things that make us smile.
